Neuropsychological Testing

I noticed that assessment services were practically non-existent here in Utah. After talking to some other professionals and individuals looking for assessment services and finding out that it was at least a year on waitlists to get testing, I decided to start up a business offering these assessment and other psychological services to the community. In doing so, I decided to adhere to the most up-to-date assessments that utilize Telehealth and other technologies in order to best serve the community by making these services more accessible. Doing assessments in this manner allows me to offer assessment services to a wide variety of individuals over an increasingly broad area.

After doing an initial call to discuss your need for an assessment and my initial impression of what will be needed, I will give you a payment estimate, walk you through what to expect, and book you for the psychological interview. During this, we discuss any assessment questions you may have, and I will provide psycho-education before beginning the assessment process. I am able to meet with you through Telehealth, in-person, or even at your location. Depending on the assessments needed, I may be able to offer Telehealth options to improve the efficiency of the assessment process.

I am currently not accepting insurance. There are many reasons why I do not accept insurance with the main being that to do so would require me to hire folks to bill insurance and drive up the costs of offering these services. This would severely limit the services I could provide clients at this time. I do provide a superbill that you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance. I created this company to help provide quality psychological evaluation services to communities in need.

 

I collect an initial $200 booking fee that will be rolled into your assessment fee at the time of assessment that basically covers my own cost to buy the assessments that I am going to administer. The cost of the assessment will vary in price depending on what is needed. I often offer an hourly rate of $150 or a set price that tends to be about at least half of what people would normally pay when using their insurance. In our initial conversation, I will provide more information on what I estimate your cost to be. I offer sliding scales and payment plan options as needed; I always work to find whatever option will be the least expensive for the client.
